Can You See It 08: Can You Hear Him!

The principle we are looking at in this series of posts is the principle of perception. If you do not perceive something you cannot exalt it, and what you fail to exalt will never be close to you. Nowhere is this principle more important than when it comes to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

What I am about to say next is not to condemn, but it is the truth and if you do not receive this truth and act accordingly, you will never be able to flow in a supernatural life. Here is the statement: the Holy Spirit is really good at speaking, so if there is a communication problem between you and the Holy Spirit, it’s on your end. It is because you failed to perceive, failed to exalt and therefore there is a disconnect with the Holy Spirit. That’s not on Him, that’s on you. You owe it to yourself and your future and your destiny to learn how to perceive the voice of the Holy Spirit. The voice of the Holy Spirit is the most life-changing force there is.

There have been several times in my life the Holy Spirit has warned me of impending danger. There have been times where my life has been saved by listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. This is not a trivial matter – this can literally be life and death. I believe in nearly all divorces are caused by one or both spouses not listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. I believe the voice of the Holy Spirit can open doors to levels of abundance and life you have never seen before. I believe the voice of the Holy Spirit will connect you to people that will change your life.

The number one key to perceive the Holy Spirit is to be still. The Word of God says “be still and know I am God”. We need to take the time daily to be still before God. The more you do that, the more you will learn to perceive the voice of the Holy Spirit in times where there are many loud voices.

Next post, I will talk more about the still small voice. Stay tuned!
