I have spent the last few blog posts letting you know that you died and were buried with Christ (Identification 16: The Tempted Corpse, Identification 15: Consider Yourself a Corpse) and I hope you have read them. But reading is not the same as knowing.
All Christians know their sins are forgiven, but very few know it at a depth that brings them peace. You need to not just know that you are dead with Christ but know it at a depth that brings you to a place of peace and freedom and living holy.
You need to know that you are crucified with Christ – at a deep level that changes your life forever. It needs to be more than head knowledge, more than something you read in a blog, even more than something you read in the Bible – it needs to rest deep in your heart.
Paul told us to “Consider ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus” – that mean think about it, consider it, let it sink in!
Spend some time today re-reading the previous blog posts – and let it sink in!
