5. If everyone of the Israelites was healed because of the blood of the Passover lamb (Psalm 105.37) which is a type of Jesus Christ, then how much more do you think every Christian can receive healing freely from Jesus Christ, the true Passover (1 Cor. 5.7)
4. If everyone was healed who looked at the bronze serpent Moses made (Numbers 21) which was a type of Christ (John 3.16-18), then how much more do you think every Christian can receive healing just by looking at Jesus Christ crucified!
3. If God turned the captivity of Job (Job 42.10-17) and healed his body (therefore calling sickness captivity, and healing freedom) even though he had no covenant or basis for that healing, then how much more do you think God turns our captivity today when we have the New Covenant that promises freedom from captivity, and Jesus who set captives free.
2. If David sacrificed a lamb and offered a fellowship offering to the Lord and it stopped a plague completely forever (2 Samuel 24:10-25) and that lamb was just a type and picture of Christ, then how much more do you think God will stop every single plague completely forever in our life due to the sacrifice of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1.29) and restores us to fellowship with God?
1. If in the Old, inferior covenant God said “I will take sickness away from the midst of thee” (Exodus 23.25) then how much more do you think that the new, better, superior New Covenant in the blood of Jesus, not the blood of bull’s and goat’s, will take all sickness from the midst of Christians today.
