Back in the Library!

Had our first regular service in the library today.  Met a new lady who had heard about us from someone who came to the crusade and intends to come regularly, but could not come tonight.

Also another pastor came to hear the Word.  That is a blessing to me when Pastors come because they appreciate what I am preaching.

If you want to hear the sermon or download it on mp3, it is available here.

I just sense we are on the verge of something wonderful.  I am just praying for strength to carry through until it breaks and we see a Spirit-filled Word of Faith multi-ethnic cell church in London and Essex.

Blessings to you all,

Benjamin

Wonderful News Day 4…

Day Four…

We had 17 adults (give or take one or two either way – counting is difficult while preaching) and it was a glorious service.  We had a lady who used to be in the youth group I led many years ago come and lead worship and it was absolutely beautiful.

The presence of the Lord filled the room, and people were getting touched by the Lord before I even opened my mouth.

I preached on the Holy Spirit and how important it is to know him as a person.  Message is available here.

There was a Muslim gentleman turned up aged 85 looking for healing.  He hobbled in and asked for prayer for his skin, I prayed for all of him and the pain left him completely.  I am going to meet him for a coffee next week.

The Christians in the room responded well to the message and God’s goodness was evident.  Many people said they had never heard the things I have said before.

Think – every night a non-Christian has heard the gospel, every night someone has been touched by God and every night people have been encouraged, blessed and inspired.

Now remember, the crusade is over but we are not.  Every Thursday we are in the library, every Sunday in our house.  Increase and increase, glory and blessing,

Glory and freedom,
Benjamin

Church Update for Next Sunday (12th July, 2009)

Our next service is 3-5pm on Sunday 12th July.

Our new montly theme is “How to Heal the Sick” and Pastor Ben will be teaching people what to do when someone sick is standing in front of them.  This is preparation for the healing crusade in August and the people who are there in July will be the team in August who are there ministering healing to the sick.

On the 12th we will be talking about how to receive your healing by faith in the completed work of Christ on the cross in redemption.

We do not put our address on the web for security reasons, but if you contact us we will be more than happy to give you directions and answer any questions you have.  We will be worshipping the Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us as we do in any cell meeting.

We will be resuming meetings in the Fulwell Cross Library in August of this year, and in the summer are having a “Wonderful News” Gospel Crusade.  Watch this space for further details, or if you cannot wait, please feel free to email us: info@treeoflifechurch.org.uk

Important Church Update (Sunday 7th June)

Our next service is 3-5pm on Sunday 14th June.

Our monthly theme for our preaching and teaching for June is “Hope” and Benjamin is continuing his series by giving us 7 ways we can build up our hope so we have a strong hope and are eagerly excited for the future God has for us.  The message on the 7th June was a powerful message about how we need the three pigments of a right view of God, a right view of man and a right view of our destiny so the Lord can paint a great picture of our future in our mind.  During the week, Ben is going to summarize the message and put it on the blog.

We do not put our address on the web for security reasons, but if you contact us we will be more than happy to give you directions and answer any questions you have.  We will be worshipping the Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us as we do in any cell meeting.
